The day was beautiful...sunny, warm but not hot, nice breeze...then it poured like crazy for about 15 minutes, then it was gorgeous out again. The kids thought it was the "best day ever" since they were allowed to play out in the rain and subsequent mud. Yesterday used to be the "best day ever" because Steve took the oldest five to the river for a bike ride and put on a fireworks show for my birthday. Before that, last Saturday was the "best day ever" because they went swimming at Nani's with their cousins and the new kids met Uncle Gary and Aunt Linda for the first time. Groceries aside, at least they're cheap.
