Apple Picking

Back in July or August we promised the kids we would take them to Klackle's to pick apples. Every weekend day for the whole month has been either rainy or we have had plans. So since it had stopped raining by the end of Mass we decided to head over to the orchard to make good on our promise.

Oliver (pictured) and Liam (with Daddy's help) were the only 2 brave enough to hold a tarantula.

The little kids had a ball on the barrel ride. Teresa and Eddie were allowed to ride together since they are so small.

Picking apples.

Eating apples.

Playing in the dirt. Liam could do that for free at home.

Climbing.

Exploring old time plows.

It really was just a great fun day. Teresa and Liam had more questions about the tractor pulling our wagon than about how the apples grow. Owen and Rosa had fun in the dragon bounce house. Liam liked the sand pit. Eddie was too small to get up the obstacle course inflatable so Steve had to rescue him from the middle. I think Teresa has taken over Matthew's role as "Cruise Director." Matthew enjoyed a *tiny* bit more freedom to explore without his family entourage but also helped hold hands with little kids if Steve and I were busy trying to keep other little hands from loving the bunnies or donkeys or goats too much. Oliver liked everything but especially the elephant.
